Drums & Percussion
I was born on September 27th, 1968 in Cincinnati, Ohio. my current hometown is in Owensboro, Kentucky. I’ve been playing drums since I was seven. I remember sitting in a church pew, watching my cousin play the drums. that's where I learned my skills and drew my inspiration.
Though I was raised in church, I fell far away from the Lord as I got older. I knew about God, but didn't have a personal relationship with Him. Like so many others, I was smiling on the outside but fighting a huge battle within. I wasn't happy with life, or where I was. My whole life, I did everything that everyone else thought I should do, and tried to become what everyone thought I should be. I hit rock-bottom about eight years ago. I was very depressed, and almost lost my job of 28 years. I didn’t know how to deal with the high expectations that I felt was I supposed to live up to for everyone, or all the overwhelming emotions that came with them. During this dark time in my life, I came dangerously close to ending it all.
God had other plans for me though, and I’m alive today because of Him. Now I’m doing better than I ever imagined I could've been. I’m thankful and very humbled for the man that Christ has molded me into. He has blessed me beyond measure; far greater than I could have asked, by giving me my talent. My gift came from Him, and He's given me opportunities to travel to different places with my music to minister to people. I am thankful for the opportunity to share what he has done for me, and what he continues to do in my life. Praise His Holy Name!

Guitars & Vocals
I grew up in Salem, Missouri and began attending church at a very young age. I learned to sing from my mother before I was four, and continued my musical training in church and at school.
Though I picked up, and put down the guitar many times in my life, initially I began playing guitar because my step-grandfather owned a 1968 Gibson Blue Ridge 6 string acoustic guitar. Before turning his life to Christ, my g-pa wanted to be like Hank Williams. But after giving his life to Jesus he focused on singing in the church for the rest of his life. I am also a second cousin to Rodney and Doug Dillard of the bluegrass group The Dillards. They toured the U.S. and the world many times over, bringing Southern bluegrass to people across the globe.
I thought myself basic bass guitarist, but after a near life-wrecking divorce in 2006, I picked the guitar up for the last time and finally found peace. Though I can still play any type of music anywhere, and though I am still invited on a regular basis to play in secular projects, I have declined. My heart is to play originally-created music for the glory of our Lord and Savior, Jesus, because He has redeemed me, and through Him all things are possible.
I use Gibbons guitars exclusively, due to my grandpa's influence and also because several of my rock favorites use them, including Angus Young, Jimmy Page, Steve Clark, Slash, Leslie Paul, Derek Trucks. I also use Orange amplification in the form of the CR120H PRO and Voice of the World speakers. Oranges Digital amplifier system. My guitars include 2 (eventually 3) 2011 50th anniversary 24 fret Gibson SGs, and a 2010 Gibson Hummingbird artist pro-acoustic. I use custom Ernie Ball strings, and Gibson brand acoustic strings for the hummingbird as well as my granddad's 68 blue ridge.
Lead Guitar & Vocals
I was born on September 16, 1973 in Papua, New Guinea. My folks were medical missionaries and I lived there until I was 10. I grew up listening to many artists like John Denver, The Gaithers and Neal Diamond. When we came to the United States, my folks divorced and I lived with my mother in Alamosa, CO until 8th. Grade. It was during this time I started hearing and liking bands like AC/DC, Mötley Crüe, Metallica and Petra. My mother remarried and we moved to Bakersfield, CA to pastor an Asian mission.
I really matured in California and started taking music very seriously. I developed my guitar playing and fell in love with all the big 80's rockers like Judas Priest, Motörhead, Accept and the newly formed Stryper. Stryper opened my eyes that you could rock and be a Christian witness at the same time. I began writing Christian based lyrics and ideals and setting them to music. By my high school years, I moved to Missouri to be with my dad. I immersed myself in all the Christian rock I could find. Guardian, Whitecross, Shout, Bride, Messiah Prophet and so many more. I started my first all original band and have never looked back. I also have been refining my style and picking the best tools for my craft. Music is in my soul and I love using it as a means to meet and greet so many amazing people. I've shared my story of drug/alcohol abuse, infidelity, addictions to anger, rage and everything in between. I know that only a relationship with Jesus was what led me to overcome those addictions, and allowed healing and forgiveness to replace void in my life. I'm just a regular guy with a real story. I’m a work in progress; still under construction!
As of this moment, I use Ibanez 940RG's and Line 6 Spider IV amps. I will be exploring Mesa Boogie in the very near future.

I was born in St. Louis, and was raised in church where I began playing drums at the age of eight years old. Being from a very musically-inclined family, music came naturally to me. My passion for music grew, and I became interested in the bass guitar during my high school years. Right after high school my life took 180-degree turn, and I started heading down the wrong path. I stopped going to church and got caught up in worldly things. I began using alcohol and drugs, and I became a founder one of the biggest heavy metal bands in the St. Louis local music scene.
After many unsuccessful years chasing my dreams and my idea of happiness, I hit rock-bottom. I gave up on being a musician. I found a good job and eventually got married and started a family. Because of my wife, I started going to church again, and re-dedicated my life to God. I was offered a position on the worship team, and eventually God led me to KOTR, where I am now able to use my gifts for the Lord!
My musical influences are Metallica, Megadeth, Killswitch Engage, All That Remains, Impending Doom, For Today, and Red. I play Ibanez SR and BTB basses. I use Ampeg amplification, Carvin Cabinets, and Korg Toneworks Pedals.
I grew up in the Farmington, MO area for 24 years of life where I was raised in the church and music ran in my family. My wife and I have been married for almost 10 years, and we have two boys.
I spent the first half of my life as a drummer, and as I got older I began learning to play guitar, keys, and singing. At the age of 16, I went to a summer camp in Oklahoma. On the last day I saw one of my drumming heroes leading worship the morning that we are about to go back home, and I had never seen a drummer know how to play guitar and sing too, and from that morning on, I wanted to learn to sing and play guitar and I wanted to become a worship leader at a local church. Fast-forward several years, after a lot of training and theological study, I was given the opportunity to become a full-time deacon and worship leader at my local church in Arnold, MO.
In addition, I am now the front-man for Knights of the Remnant! It has been a really fun ride so far. One of the things I always wanted to do as a teenager was be in an 80’s rock band as I am and always have been a huge fan of stadium rock. And now I have been given an opportunity to live out that exciting dream. I love that I get to entertain people while sharing the love of Jesus at the same time.
My desire is that, through the efforts of Knights of the Remnant, people will encounter high-quality rock and roll. More importantly though, I pray that they find hope, and experience a breathe of fresh air with a band whose hearts are for people, rather than just themselves. That's what we are. We're about reaching out to, and loving people right where they are without judgment. We're not here to stand on a soap box and shout about what causes we're against. We'd rather shout out about what we're for. What we're are is Jesus, and Jesus is for loving and reaching people . . . Right where they are.
